My heartfelt condolences to Miriam’s family, friends and colleagues. I’m lost for words. Miriam passing is still a shock to us all. She was a feisty yet strong and kind hearted woman. Miriam was very passionate about her work especially the FNB pensioners. She was like a mother and a friend not just to me but to many of us in the office. She never complained when I asked her to drop off stuff at bank city. She was the life and light of our team. I will miss our chats, the laughs we shared and confiding in you. You always looked out for me for which I’m so grateful for. Words can’t describe the loss I am feeling. Miriam loved life and had a beautiful soul. We were blessed to have had you in our lives. My friend, you will be missed dearly and you will forever be in our hearts.

Mirriam my fondest memory is walking into your home and you will have food prepared. The jokes between you and my father about your cooking will be one of my fondest memories..you will be missed, going to Lawley will not be the same without you.

Aunty Mir there are so many many wonderful memories to share. Thank you for your great stories, your amazing sense of humour and your beautiful caring spirit. The prints you left in our lives will forever remain. You always took such a keen interest in everyone's lives and I am so grateful that you did the same for me. I will treasure all the great times we shared. From the New Years celebrations to the walks through town and running away from the protests- you were always there.
