Mike Elwell

August 16, 1963 - February 23, 2018

A dearly missed Husband, Son, Father, Brother, Uncle and friend. Mike worked for Dynniq for more than 20 years. We lost not only a sales man, but also a friend and well-respected colleague. We encourage those that knew him to mark their respects by posting their condolences and sharing any memories they have. Mike was also known for having a wide range of musical, sporting and social interests. He loved to spend time with his family and through sailing he developed an enormous admiration for the work undertaken by the RNLI. Please donate in memory of Mike who embraced everything life offered him via the JustGiving page by visiting https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mikeelwellrnli .

Where do you start ! where do you end ! Mike was a true inspiration to me his energy was contagious his work ethics were inspiring. Mike interviewed me back in June 2014 and from that day on he was the best boss I ever had in my working life who was an amazing mentor with the patience of a saint, any success I have had or have with Dynniq is with many thanks to Mike forever, Mike made me over come fears and achieve my dreams and enable me to live and work to a can do attitude. Mike was a dream chaser and made them reality in his working life and family life. Mike being a very private man kept his working life very separate from his family life but what was very obvious right from the start was that his Family was his world - his Wife his boys were his everything and his meaning of life, he was so very proud of his boys and spoke very highly of them with a smile on his face he beamed with pride. Kathryn most definitely was the love of his life and his one and only true love - He was in Leicester for Valentine’s day this year and he asked how many cards I had etc and I said how many have you had he said the only one I want from my wife. I want to thank Mike's family for a truly amazing service they led for Mike he would have been so proud of you all for the strength you pulled together as a family for him. it was a great pleasure to be with you all for his celebration of life and to meet the people he absolutely adored. Mike an absolute legend who made a mark on my life and will never be forgotten and always remembered with a smile a very special man - God Bless - Rest Easy Mr Elwell Xxx Love to Kathryn and the boys xxx
