Unreal - perplexed - dazed - taken aback!
I picked up the news very early, not by the digital newspapers, but just by one sentence on social media. Before I could check the first newspaper the sad news was just everywhere on social media! It prooves on how popular Scarpa really was!
I've Always admired his way of cycling and how he understood being a teamplayer!
I've reviewed this morning the first stage of the Tour of the Alps, his final win and did go up and back to his final tweet, like I still cannot believe!
My sincerest condolences go to his dearest beloved, his family, his team mates and the entire staff, his management, his colleagues, his friends and fans!
Indulge all those fantastic moments, both in cycling and abroud!
For sure we will miss you, for sure you will never be forgotten!
