Melanie Ravenscroft was and is an inspiration to us all. Nothing was ever too big a problem, or too small an issue for her attention. Her door was always open, but she never pretended to be someone without her own challenges. St Aidans is an amazing school that she led with skill, knowledge and passion. We have all benefitted from her life's work and continue to do so in the legacy she has left behind. Our 17 year daughter has wonderful memories from her time at St Aidans and particularly of Melanie. She has gained confidence without losing respect thanks to that. My son still benefits from the environment she helped to create. As a family our heart's go out to Melanie's family and close friends in their time of grief and loss and hope they find some comfort in the knowledge that she will not be forgotten.
