Dear Mrs Hanna & Family,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of our Brother in Arms, Mazin Hanna. His unexpected demise has shocked us all. I had the chance to work with Mazin in both in Iraq and Kenya as CoM, spanning roughly 8 years. Mazin was a true gentleman and a dedicated top professional, tireless in his commitments to both work and family. He was not just a colleague at work, but also a good friend, a leader, innovator, problem solver and trend setter. His dedication to the humanitarian cause was unprecedented and relentless, complemented with his ability to problem-solve, innovate and smile when the situation was tough. His stamina, including working into the early hours of the morning, as a team member in the coordination of humanitarian life-saving assistance to those in need, is well recalled. He was a comrade. My heart goes out to you, your children and extended family. May you remain strong, united and reconciled in the face of such a terrible loss. May God’s love and blessings help reduce your unprecedented suffering as He welcomes Mazin into Heaven with His open arms, and until we meet again. God Bless Mazin.
