It has been my great privilege to have worked with Matthew intermittently over the years since the late 90s. The experience has been humbling, invigorating, exhausting, challenging and inspiring, generally all at the same time. I am so grateful for it. Matthew’s mastery of strategic thinking along with his meticulous attention to detail was remarkable. He contributed to housing policy, strategy and innovations across the country in profound ways. I knew him as a kind, warm, generous person with a phenomenal energy and enthusiasm for all that life might bring him. My deepest condolences to Barbara and his family, to whom he was clearly so devoted, and to the Shisaka team. May you find the strength to come to terms with this enormous loss. Rest in peace Matthew.
