Mary Puccio

October 27, 1956 - July 15, 2020

We have created this memorial page for Mary. You are invited to view this page and add and share "Mary Stories" and memories for the family and others to see as a way of remembering and honoring Mary. We have included a video slideshow of Mary below. We are so thankful for all the friends and loved ones who added so much joy to Mary's life... Mary was our baby sister. Everyone loved Mary. She was kind, caring, loving, and funny. She had the greatest wit and sense of humor. She loved her pets and they were her "children". She loved her family and friends and always told us "I love you" whenever we talked on the phone. Mary loved her nieces and nephews like her own children and really enjoyed her great-nieces and nephews as well. Mary devoted her life to the medical field as a registered nurse. She worked in the NICU taking care of sick newborn babies for many years when she lived in Florida. When she moved to Blairsville she worked at Appalachian Home Health Care. More recently, Mary specialized her in-home health care by traveling around the area giving life-saving infusions to homebound patients. She loved her patients like family and was fiercely dedicated to them. Mary was greatly loved and will be deeply missed!

Mary and I met in high school and had several classes together. I have great memories of our working on school projects together numerous times. Following high school, 4 of us from Johnson went to nursing school together. The first year, Mary was one of my suite mates in Crudup Hall at Brenau. So many wonderful memories of those days! Mary always had such a sweet, caring, loving spirit. Praying for you all!
