I was greatly saddened to hear the news last Monday evening that Martin had passed away. I have known Martin for many years and thank him for his support and advice through his work as a trade unionist and friend. He greatly believed in fairness and dignity for all Council Colleagues. Many a fine chat and laughs were to be had about Rugby, family and his trips to New Zealand. I will miss him immensely. My thoughts go out to Marin's family at this time.
