Maroun Haddad

December 26, 1953 - April 9, 2020

There are not enough words to describe the impact that Maroun Haddad had on all the lives he touched. Many of you described him as an amazing friend, loving brother, inviting neighbour, and dependable Amo Maroun who always filled the room with laughter. He was everyone's best friend. To his son, Omar and daughters, Yara, Youmna and Jamena, he was the most incredible father. He led by example and taught us the true meaning of love, kindness, and strength. He taught us to always find the positive even when faced with life's toughest challenges. He was the best Baba we could have ever asked for. To his amazing wife, Jeannette, he was an incredibly devoted husband who always put his family first. Her soulmate, her rock, her real life superman. You stopped at nothing to give us the best life. We will miss you, your laugh, your smile, your sarcasm, your jokes and most of all your loving soul. We are so lucky to have had you in our lives and are blessed to now have you as our angel watching over us. We are honoured to have had you as a loving husband, father and friend. Thank you for always being you. We all know how much Maroun loved to tell stories and share memories. Lets all honour him by using this book to do the same. Please take a moment to click either memories or condolences and login through facebook. Allah Yerhemak Baba, we love you <3

My short years being around Maroun was very pleasant because I got to know what a great man he really was. I always had a lot of respect for his work ethic and his devotion to his family. Those two things about him I respected the most because that's what a man should do for his family. I come from a different culture and a different background but that never made our relationship any different from a father and son relationship. We had mutual respect for each other and I appreciated him for accepting me for who I am. Whenever when I was at the house he would always come downstairs with a big smile on his face and we would embrace each other..it was always love whenever I was around him so I will miss those type of moments when I would see him smile at me. Maroun was a hard worker, a great husband and a great father so I will salute him for who he was to his wife and to his kids. I was fortunate enough to marry his daughter Yara and to have him give her away to me at our wedding was an honor for me. To honor Maroun I will take good care of his daughter. Before he passed he looked at me as his son.. so with that said rest in peace dad we love and miss you down here.
