Mark interviewed me! I always remember how well he came across - calm, clear in his questions and with a dry wit that got me giggling and put me at ease. My respect for him continued to grow from that point on. I admired his encyclopaedic knowledge of Ocado; our systems and policies as well as his own experience of being a CSTM. I also marvelled at his Dr Spock-like ability to solve problems in a calm, calculated and logical manner. He was often the first to arrive in the morning and last to leave at night and took his work and responsibility very seriously. But he also had a playful, witty side and his one-line zingers made me laugh out loud. He has left a huge hole in our team. We miss him. Thank you for all you did Mark, thank you giving me my opportunity to join Ocado and for being such an excellent mentor and role model. Thank you for being not just a colleague (and an exceptional one at that) but a friend who made a very positive difference in my life.
