First thing Saturday to the start: mountain biking across glorious but challenging terrain, down to the sea for a 2 mile canoe - Mark, the instructor, bellowing exhortations from the back of the canoe, succeeded in spilling us all out; cooled us down anyway. Then a killer jog - mostly walk tbh - back to the start. And on to the ferry, stop at the pub, then up the M3 to the office. Always up for an adventure - we did the same in Cologne, Dubai on our first trip in Feb 2014 - he and George on a single, complaining camel and over in the States. A man you'd be very pleased to have alongside you in the trenches. Travel safely, Mark.
