Marian was born in Simcoe, Ontario, and raised in that area as the 3rd of 4 children to Christian parents. She is survived by Colleen, her older sister of 96.
At 12 years old, Marian went to a tent gospel meeting and received the Lord.
She attended Hairdressing Academy, and then on to London Bible Institute, where she met her husband of almost 70 years, Keith.
They were married in 1954, and spent their honeymoon in Keith's Mother's apartment, traveling there by train and bicycle.
Marian was a devoted Missionary to all who came in contact with her, including crank calls. Many times she brought home someone who was in need or that she found on the street, getting them cleaned up and fed while washing their clothes. Several of them were led to the Lord.
During the lean years Marian and Keith exercised their faith in prayer for the Lord's supply. Many times after prayer food or money unexpectedly arrived, sometimes in the exact amount needed.
Marian was very active in the churches in Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Coquitlam, and Abbottsford! She loved having saints over for meals, and visiting them. She also loved distributing free bibles for Bibles for Canada.
Mom passed April 11th, 2024 in her sleep, peacefully with loved ones by her side.
