Aunty as we knew her was a kind and gentle woman. We always acknowledged her whenever we passed her on the streets in Mombasa and she asked us how we were and always had a smile on her face.
She was very hard working and had a tough time bringing up 11 children as did most of her peer group. We remember her with fondness. May she Rest in peace.
