Louis Febroyd Parris

September 20, 1928 - July 29, 2020

Mr. Louis Febroyd Parris, known by many of his friends as “Parro” was an affable, generous, inspiring person dearly loved by his family and many friends and communities – church, village councils and sports associations. Particularly known for his wise council and mentorship, even among young people. He served on the Hampden/Lowlands Community Council as Public Relations Officer for several terms – a position which he thoroughly enjoyed as it allowed him to meet and speak with a large number of people. He was an excellent sportsman and served on the Tobago Cricketing Association disciplinary committee. He was a cricket coach at St. Clair Coaching School. A very devoted Christian, he used every opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. Mr. Parris will be greatly missed. I am sure you will be happy to contribute to his memory by recording your kind thoughts in this remembrance page.

To Auntie Stella, I am praying for you and I’m feeling so thankful for the time we were all able to spend together. To my cousins, I am praying for you as well ... I am sorry we could not be together ... but reminded in your tributes and song that you are all so beautiful, poised and smart ... a true legacy of all your parents invested in you. Uncle Louis, I will miss you. You were such a dependable pillar in our family. We could count on your quiet presence and encouraging advice ... both wise and godly. I am glad you are now with your Saviour. May your legacy of faith live on in our lives and the lives of many others. Until we meet again!
