Lorna Chisholm

August 2, 1961 - September 22, 2021

Lorna suddenly passed away peacefully on Wednesday 22nd September aged just 60. We will all remember Lorna for her kindness, thoughtfulness and the passion she had for making people’s lives better which she shared with us all. Lorna had a love for cooking, travelling, socialising and wildlife. Lorna would often share photos taken by her husband David of local wildlife at her home (Friday Special). Lorna worked with Falkirk Council for over 39 years she was a respected, knowledgeable and highly valued member of the Revenue and Benefits Team and will be greatly missed. Lorna’s contribution to the lives of her colleagues, and the citizens we serve, will be an immeasurable loss.

I am shocked and upset at the sad news about Lorna and cannot believe I am writing this. I have known Lorna for 37 years when I first started in CRC and she was a close friend as well as a close colleague. We took on the Poll Tax when it was introduced and ended up in the Allan Park every Friday night as a result. She was such a fun loving person and will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to David, her soul mate, and all her family. My thoughts are with you all at this very sad time.
