It’s been more than a decade & half since we met at NIT Jaipur but some memories of you are clear as tomorrow. I remember you as a jovial soul who used to laugh at all my non-sensical jokes and a big foodie - eating cream rolls in Hostel 1 during ragging period, going to Satkar for Juice, Chabra for dinner, Saras parlour for Lassi & Nescafe for midnight shot of caffeine. We stayed in same hostels for three years & bumped into each other pretty much every day in the mess or canteen for banter & gossip. After college we went our own ways but stayed connected on social media. You always made time to look at my photography & we exchanged notes on where our respective lives were headed.
I don’t know why god choose you – one of the gentlest soul, for this abrupt departure. I pray that god grants your parents & wife the strength to accept & bear this loss and preserve you & your best memories in their hearts.
You might not be there with us physically, but you will forever live in our memories Kunal – ever smiling & youthful. Alvida dost.
