Kate was a kind, generous thoughtful friend. I have so many lovely memories, from canoeing in Wales, our little holiday in Dunster, to hours of crafting, chatting and planning together.
We started work together at Briarwood on the same day 7 years ago. I left work, filled up my car with diesel and then realised I didn't have my wallet! Having met Kate that day but knowing no one in Bristol I called her up and she drove straight over to loan me the money! This sums up Kate's beautiful personality, she was always there for her friends and family.
As I tuck up Ellysia in the beautiful blanket that Kate crocheted I feel so sad for the loss and that we'll never see her again.
My love and thoughts are with Gill and Cliff at this heartbreaking time. She loved you both so much.
