Had the opportunity to meet Mrs & Mr Thakurdas only on a few occasions during our visits to Bangalore. But those few interactions were made memorable by the warmth, sincerity and affection that radiated from them. I fondly remember uncle regaling us with stories from the cricket pitch while aunty spoke about those bygone days at Allahabad. They both belonged to a generation that gave so much and took very little in return. I was fortunate to have met aunty on 23 July. It never occurred to me that it would be the last time I would meet her. My heartfelt condolences goes out to Anamika, Rachna, Alok, Sanjay and the wonderful grand children. RIP Uncle and aunty. Will miss you both.
