June Stolk-Kent

June 11, 1928 - November 9, 2020

June was born in London, during her younger years she traveled the whole globe working for Shell as a teacher. After marrying Jan and the birth of her two boys Richard & Chris, she finally settled in Voorburg the Netherlands. June was a fit and vital Grand "English" Dame, out and about on a daily basis even in her 90's, driving around in her little red car to her "main" shopping events, many sporting activities or doing one of her many social rounds.

I first met June in Ankara 50 years ago where our husbands both worked for Shell, and we became good friends both on and off the tennis courts. Later when we met up again in The Hague for periods of time, she was still the most delightful person to be with. I shall always remember June for her warmth ,her sense of fun,and her dignity. To Richard, Chris and family, Peter and I send our sincerest sympathy for your sad loss.
