John Milner

April 25, 1971 - December 28, 2020

At times as sad as this it is hard to find the words to articulate both the individual and collective sorrow that the passing of John has made us all feel. This page in John's memory is where we can all share our condolences with John's loving family and let them know we are thinking of them.

I recognise many of the comments posted here and echo the sentiments – I knew John in a different life (at sea/college as cadets), we had some legendary road trips (Sheffield & Edinburgh still stand out after nearly 30 years!) but he was much the same. Didn’t see much of John in London, whilst working in a different part of the shipping business, but for sure he made impact on my life. Thursday night 5-a-side games, followed by grubby Sunderland night clubs – is definitely what the early 90s was all about. Gone way too soon – RIP
