As said by many, John truly was an inspirational leader. Met, worked and had several drinks with John over the years and counted him as a friend. Inspired me in many ways and you always left any meeting with him believing that you could do what you previously thought you couldn’t. Had the pleasure of working alongside him in the kitchen environment teaching him how to make pizza and “feeding more students better food” by serving alongside me on Christmas lunches. Not only did he lead IFG but he created a family within IFG and he will be dearly missed by all. My deepest condolences go to his family, Lisa, Daisy and Finn. He really was one in a million. May you rest in peace knowing we will continue with your great work.
