Sincere condolences to John's wife, Jane, and daughter, Sara, and all your family. I'm truly sorry to hear the sad news of John's passing. I haven't been able to play for a couple of years, but remember fondly playing in the House League, and John's enthusiasm, good humour and good manners. I was so touched one year when he was thoughtful enough to give me a small trophy for something I'd done well (can't remember what it was) in House League that year. I think he believed in rewarding everyone for their efforts. He will be so missed. May John rest peacefully, and may you all find the comfort you need.
