Jenny Provin

March 7, 1958 - January 19, 2022

Jenny was Chief Executive of Rennie Grove from January 2013 to February 2018. During her time at Rennie Grove she worked hard to drive efficiency and grow our income streams so that we could care for even more local people with life-limiting illness. Her priority was always to ensure those looked after by Rennie Grove had the best possible care. Jenny was a people person who knew the names of every member of staff and always made time to stop, talk and encourage. She was a positive and inspiring leader who will be much missed by us all. We send our heartfelt sympathies to Jenny's family.

Jenny and I started working at Rennie Grove at the same time in early 2013. Jenny was a most likeable, kind and able Chief Executive, described by senior staff as tough but fair. Not only that, she was a people person and knew all her staff by their first names. Jenny developed our senior management team into a cohesive unit and enhanced their skills. By doing so, under her leadership Rennie Grover prospered both in seeing more patients and their families year on year, but increasing our charitable income as well. When Jenny retired in 2018 she had left us in a far better place. She will be greatly missed. It is so sad that she and Luiz, her husband, were only partially able to enjoy their plans for a busy, travelling retirement. Stephen Spiro (Chair of Trustees)

Jenny was a lovely person to work with. She did a great job of bringing the team together - staff, volunteers and trustees alike She made some difficult decisions with skill and aplomb, and was professional and compassionate in all that she did.

An inspiration to us all. Jenny always had time for a chat and was genuinely interested in her staff and their families

A truly beautiful woman. That amazing talent for remembering the name of everyone she met was a true indication of her level of interest in and empathy for the individual.
