Jean was a great leader with such passion for his work, a wonderful mentor and most importantly a lovely human being. To share a personal story, just 10 days back he insisted on doing my annual appraisal despite my repeated requests to him to rest. He showered such effusive praise and gave me excellent career guidance which left me speechless on his work ethics and how he invested in his people, no matter what the circumstances. His last words to me were, “Vidhi you have taken the team v well together through the challenging year and wanted me to thank the team on his behalf”. I never thought this will be my last conversation with him.
Will truly miss an inspirational leader like Jean. May his soul Rest In Peace and may God give strength to his young family.
