I loved his Christmas and Easter skits, and the humour he incorporated into his gospel-based sermons. He was a warm personality whose obvious love for his family and loving care of his church family was a blessing to us all. I appreciated how he immediately offered a memorial service for my Grandma, whose English funeral was impossible for me to attend. I appreciated how he was friendly and interested in the non church going members of my family without criticism.
Jack was touched by the thoughtful and caring phone call he received from Jason as soon as I told him about a bereavement of the brother of Jack’s best friend.
We will miss him.
