Like many of us at KCOM, we have enjoyed working with this great guy for many years, just 30 for me, and none of us would have a bad word to say about him, or he them. He was a laid back guy who hardly ever got rattled and accepted people for who they were, an admirable trait. His skill, knowledge and patience complemented with an uncomplicated friendly manner made him a friend to many, many people.
He was my friend, and I miss him, can't quite believe he's not mulling around somewhere.
When I did 121's within him, and there was a lot over the years, we always talked about one thing more than anything else....family, me mine and Jason his. Every quarter or so I would hear what Michelle, Lauren and Alex were up to, he shared his love for them openly, and made me do the same.
I have lots of great memories of Jason, to pick just one out - the picture of disbelief on his face when I told him that Torch were going to pay him £1600 for one nights work just in case something happened with this thing called the millennium bug - it was like he knew nothing was going to stop working - "but it covered the cost of Christmas" he said as he shook my hand!
Thanks for all the memories, your dedication, loyalty and friendship Jason, my heart goes out to Michelle, Lauren and Alex who know more than any of us what a special man we have lost.
