James Hudson

June 20, 1969 - June 25, 2021

James was a much-loved member of staff, who had worked at our school for over 20 years. This loss will be felt very deeply by all who knew him. He will be fondly remembered for his terrible jokes and vast array of ties! School productions, residentials and all things around the wider curriculum were James' passions, as well as being an amazing teacher. So many families within the wider community have had children taught by him, this is a huge loss for us all. Our thoughts are with James' immediate family at this difficult time. It's so very sad to be writing this. I remember James had a quote on the back of his classroom door:- A smile is a curve that sets everything straight, So keep smiling, no matter what happens. Phyiiis Diller. Eventually, in his usual style, James abbreviated this to 'keep smiling', which is the way most of us will remember him. As his LSA for many years, for both class 8 and Dolphins, I will remember him as a generous mentor, (with the patience of a Saint ) a dependable colleague (with a wicked sense of humour!) and a kind and caring friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Sleep tight James.
