I was very sad to hear of the passing of James. I worked in the same team as him at Hamble Primary for 6 of my 9 years. He was the most kind, caring and generous man. We would often spend the evening chatting and putting the world to rights before locking up the school for the night. He helped shape my teaching career and was also a friend who helped support me when things got tough. I have so many wonderful memories and little snippets of images to remember him by. He will be missed by so many and leave a huge hole at school, where he was a rock for children and adults. RIP James and may you be looking down on us wearing a ridiculous tie, telling awful jokes, drinking a can of coke and eating a microwaveable burger! X
