When I was still with IsDB back in 2009, I once asked Issa "when do you get time to work? Your office is always flooded with colleagues from all nationalities coming to unload their frustrations, share their worries, ask for personal or professional advice. He replied with a smile and replied "you always have to make time for people." That sums it all up. Issa understood what it meant to be human. He was the best at it. Pure heart. Kind and generous. Compassionate and gentle. Humble natural leader towards whom all converged. He indeed attracted all opposites. Friend to all, genuinely. A contemporary model of goodness and kindness, selflessness and realism. The anectodes are too many to cite in this short hommage. All I can say is "Alhamdoulilah". Thanks Allah, for having put us in the path of this Great Human. He leaves us all better persons at his touch. The best part is....he did it without a sweat, but with pure class. He has touched so many lives, and should not leave us in tears. Your journey in eternity has now begun Issa...we will shower your path with prayers. Your footprint is a giant one left on this earth. While we are saddened, I know Heaven is celebrating your arrival...You have always opened your doors wide to all humankind....May Allah open wide the doors of Mercy and Paradise for you! So long...
