It is with heavy hearts that we remember our beloved brother, Haji Imran Patel (Bergkamp), who passed away suddenly, leaving behind family, friends, and a community who loved him deeply.
Imran was known for his kind heart, infectious smile, and deep passion for football. Widely regarded as one of the finest talents to come out of Leytonstone, he inspired many both on and off the pitch. He had a unique way of bringing people together and encouraging young people around him.
Beyond the game, Imran dedicated his time to helping the community and supporting those in need. He was a man you could rely on in your darkest hour, someone who would never say no when help was needed. No matter how well he knew you, he would always stop to speak, make time for you, and leave you smiling after every encounter.
That was Imran. A beloved son, husband, father, brother and friend whose warmth, generosity, and character touched the lives of so many. His impact will never be forgotten, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
May Allah grant him the highest ranks in Jannah, forgive his shortcomings, and give strength and sabr to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Ameen.
