It was a pleasure being in the same classroom with Helen and the students over the last seven years. To watch Helen's interactions with the students was at times, caring, interesting, funny but never boring. Helen was very direct with her comments to a student who failed to impress with a class test but she was always willing to let the student repeat the test so the student could try and improve their result before it was sent home to the parents to be signed. To the brightest student to the student who found school work a chore, they were all treated the same respect. No student was left behind in Helen's class.
