I joined De La Salle last year and from the outset Helen made an effort to get to know me. She made all the new members of staff feel welcome and would always stop for a chat. I will always remember her quick wit and honesty. After only a short period of time I could see how Helen genuinely cared for her pupils. Her affection went beyond wanting the best for her students in the classroom, she wanted to know how they were doing outside of school and if there was anything she could do to support them. The school will not be the same without her.
