I had Ms. O’Sullivan for 4 years in the classroom and was good buddies with her for the 2 years outside of it.
Aside from getting reminded of the importance of time keeping skills on my first Monday morning of first year, we got on fantastic. Sparrow was an authentic teacher to say the least. With her quick wit and ability to tackle tough conversations, it was apparent from the get go she was different from the other teachers. Her genuine interest in our wellbeing and news was also apparent as she often stopped to chat in the hall or outside in the yard, taking time out of her hectic schedule. She always checked in to find out how the grandparents were keeping or how the football was going, and added laughter to difficult days.
Ms. O’Sullivan will be dearly missed among us all, however never forgotten. Room 3 will forever be Sparrows room!
