I joined the staff at De La Salle last year and Helen instantly made me feel welcome. She always checked in with me to see how I was settling in and was always up for a chat. She was so kind, warm and witty. I couldn't have a conversation with Helen without laughing. She was hilarious and was always up for a laugh. As a young teacher, Helen in particular was a teacher I looked up to. Her commitment to the job and the level of care she had for the students was something I always admired. The staff and students in De La Salle were so lucky to have had her as a teacher. She was an incredible person and I truly miss her in school every day.
