Helen was a wonderful person who always made time for a chat and a laugh. I only joined the staff in De La Salle last year and she always made sure to come up to me in the corridor or in the staffroom for a chat and ask how I was settling in. She was so welcoming and truly kind with her time. She was full of funny stories and always spoke so fondly of the students she taught. She will be dearly missed as she was such an important part of school life and always a welcoming face. I wish I had more time to get to know her but even in the year I taught with her, it was clear she was a wonderful teacher, colleague and friend. I hope she finds true peace.
