Harriet Rathbone

March 8, 1968 - August 23, 2021

It was with great sadness that we heard of Harriet Rathbone's tragic death in her home earlier this week, suddenly and unexpectedly. Harriet was an integral part of the Economic Crime Directorate, and was someone who brought people together with her kindness, humour and effervescent personality. Colleagues from across HSG, other parts of the Home Office, the NCA and NECC and UK Finance will all miss her immeasurably.

Harriet was a SOCG Wellbeing Ambassador before the switch to HSG. So many of us only knew her virtually during this pandemic, but Harriet always had wellbeing at heart, sharing tips and helping others where she could. Her lovely, bright and bubbly nature ensured she was admired and valued as a colleague and as a Wellbeing Ambassador. She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her. Her wings were ready, but our hearts were not – farewell our friend, Harriet.
