Error? Date Intergenerational Day is a way to bring different generations together by helping them see the similar connections they have with each other. When Hana was 4weeks old she and her brother Khurram attended an intergenerational day care. She was held and adored by male and female elders. Hana also grew up with great great grandmothers and spent time with those great grandmothers and grandparents monthly and at family celebrations. Hana also spent time at nursing homes on evenings and weekends when I had to put in extra time working. Hana and Khurram would spend time in my office and would walk around with me before and after work saying hello to the people that lived there. I like to believe those experiences contributed to Hana’s love for spending time with family and friends as well as welcoming and accepting all people. I love you Hana and I miss your love for people. I wish you were still here with me. This is a picture of 5 generations of maternal side.
