Our siblings are our family and are a huge part of our lives. That is why we celebrate them on National Siblings Day every April 10! Siblings are our best friends who encourage us to be our best, embarrass us, and be our biggest motivators and competitors. It’s now growing into a nationwide day of both remembrance and celebration. Hana loves her brothers and encouraged them to be their best selves, involved them in social justice issues, and encouraged them to be advocates for equity. Khurram and Hana were best friends playing together all childhood and adulthood. Hana also spent time with her brother Ghulam as he grew up and as he became an adult they spent more time together. Hana’s love of family is something that she always talked about Hana. I love and miss you Hana. I wish you were still here with me and our family.
