Tribute to mother from Ajamu known as Toni The best way to describe my mother is someone who was determined, loyal, and of course a fashionista. The mother who would ensure that we did our homework, who valued the ethos of work by giving us specific house duties, who gave us a clear sense of right and wrong. It was a typical Caribbean upbringing. She brought us up right. Something you only appreciate in later life. I have so many positive memories of my Mum, like when colour TV swept across the UK. We couldn't afford a colour TV, but my Mum, not to be outdone, brought a sheet of red cellophane, and placed it over the TV, instant colour TV. It is with the heaviest of hearts that we will be attending her funeral, then within a week commemorating her birthday. Her life touched so many people, and she will be surely missed.
Dear Sweetie, You touched so many lives for the good. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to know you, and recall the many occasions that we shared. You had an amazing life and you lived your life your way to the end. You had your flaws, as well as being fiercely independent and a strong determination to do things your way. I remember your sence of fashion, your photographic smiles and poses. I am honoured and blessed to have known you, memories of you will always have a special place in my heart. RIP
Those we love can never be more than a thought away; for as long as there's a memory, they live on in our hearts. Wishing you strength for today and hope for tomorrow. I believe that tears can heal, memories can comfort, and love lives on forever. The loss can feel immeasurable, but so can the love that's left behind. I believe that tears can heal, memories can comfort, and love lives on forever. The loss can feel immeasurable, but so can the love that's left behind. You will forever be remembered, she was like a mother to me. She give a full sponsor to my daughter baby Fatou may your soul rest in perfect peace. My condolences to all her family and love once. REST IN PEACE MOM
Oh Auntie Sweetie, Anytime I planned to visit Auntie Sweetie she would ask what I wanted to eat, so she would have dinner ready, I would also tell her that I'm coming shopping, not out to the shops but through her wardrobe, if you know Auntie Sweetie she loved her clothes and wore some amazing outfits. I would leave her home with a full stomach, armed with clothes mainly jackets, all of which I still have and wear to this day. You could say that I had my very own stylist, I was so lucky. My abiding memory of Auntie Sweetie will be her sweet smile, kindness, hugs and Love. xxx

Auntie.you have been a pillar in my life since we met in 1985. We have shared so much together. Laughing, singing, cooking, shopping and so much more. You have been a constant in my life over the years and it is hard to accept that you will not be at the other end of the phone. It is however comforting to know that God has called you home to glory where you will experience eternal peace and rest. SLEEP ON BELOVED AUNTIE.
