I am saddened by the sudden loss of my friend and colleague. My only comfort lies in the belief that as God’s faithful servant on earth, Gerard will find peace eternal in the light of God’s love. My prayers and sincerest condolences go to Caroline, Jean-Luc, and all of his family and friends…may he who knows our sorrow bring us all comfort.
