One of my earliest memories is of you Gail. It is a beach in summer. I remember the sand and the water, people on towels, smells of sunscreen and aerogard and I remember you. It was probably the shock from a crab biting my toe that kept my memory strong and vivid. I remember you laughing at me and I remember you comforting me. You probably called me a silly duffer.
You were always there when we were growing up Gail. You and Megs. You were such a good aunt, such a spoiler. Every year on our birthdays you would give us the most extravagant gifts. Usually fancy “label” clothing. I always felt completely spoilt by your gifts, but only now as an adult can I really appreciate the time and thoughtful consideration you put into choosing every one of those gifts.
I have a million memories of you Gail, every single one a good memory. Weekend picnics, afternoon coffees, family Christmases and so much more. I treasure them all. I love you and I miss you.
