The news of Elder Gab's demise is quite heart breaking. Of a truth this world is not our home. We are just passing through.
I recall very well in 1991 when Elder Gabriel Amobeda newly gave life to Christ in Charismatic Renewal Ministries Makurdi Benue state, was a very crucial time of persecution when noble men like Joseph of Arimathea were needed to rescue the body of Christ.
He fearlessly used his influence to stand for the body Christ openly anywhere he found himself despite heavy persecution. Only the Almighty father, the giver of live can explain and console the brethren why this eternal journey became too urgent that he could not wait for the promised revival. His death has created a big gap in the ongoing kingdom labour.
To you, His lordship Justice Simon Amobeda, and indeed the entire Amobeda family, we of the Charismatic Renewal Ministries Benue 1 commensurate with you over the painful exit of your dear brother/father. Please take consolation in the story of David in 2 Sam. 12:17 - 25. You have done what human can do to save a beloved one. Take heart my brothers and sisters. It is well with you.
