Francisco Fernandes

February 27, 1925 - March 16, 2021

Francisco Fernandes was a well known, greatly respected and much loved physiotherapist and bone-setter from Mombasa, Kenya. A beloved husband to Angelina Secundina. A cherished father to Prudencia, Maria Deudita, Hyacinth, Cheryl, Claudette and Yvonne and a much loved father-in-law to Christopher, the late John, Richard and Warwick and a doting granddad to Ailish, Sean, Sasha and Sophie. We appreciate friends would love to send flowers but we feel our Dad's memory would be better served with donations towards an Alzheimer's charity of your choice. Thank you for keeping Dad in your thoughts.

Poem for my dad: That Man is a Success by Robert Louis Stevenson That man is a success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who has gained the respect of intelligent men and women and the love of children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who leaves the world better than he found it, who has never lacked appreciation of Earth’s beauty or failed to express it; who looked for the best in others, and gave the best he had. We are honoured to be your family, dad. Until we meet again, may God keep you safe in the palm of his hand.
