Evan Daniel Talbot

April 18, 1996 - March 25, 2021

It is with very heavy hearts and much sadness that we had to say goodbye to our wonderful and beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, EVAN. On March 25, 2021, Evan passed away following a long and hard battle with mental illness. Evan was a happy and energetic little boy who loved his family and was never afraid to show his affection. He later grew into a very loving and affectionate young man and would demonstrate his love by wearing his heart on his sleeve. Evan enjoyed listening to music and even taught himself how to masterfully play the drums and the guitar. We are incredibly proud of Evan. His battle was a long one in which he fought hard right up until the very end. Although he will be dearly missed by his loved ones, we can rest knowing that his pain has finally ended, and he is at peace, reunited with those who were waiting for him on the other side. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that if you would like to express sympathy, consider making a donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities at https://www.rmhc.org/donate (copy and paste address in web search).

I first met Evan when he was a little boy. He was very sweet, kind and loved his family more than anything else. Despite his young age, he was quite adventurous and always wanted to be part of the conversation - no matter the topic - and he always had an opinion - much like his mom. From the moment I met Evan, we became fast friends and in fact he frequently admitted he loved me -as in romantically loved me - however he was 11 and I was an adult, which I explained numerous times over the past few years. It didn't seem to matter to him how much time passed, each and every time I saw him he professed his love for me. - while flattering I gently explained numerous times over the years that I was his moms friend and I loved being his friend, but it was never going to be anything beyond that. I will never forget Evan or his friendly spirit.
