To think we chatted but a couple of weeks ago. And now you're gone. I will miss working with you and our meaningful/meaningless chats. Apart from being a consummate professional, you were a decent guy. Thank you for your generous spirit. You're "ON-AIR" Eugene - where you belong. Peace.
Eugene was the kindest and most supportive colleague I've had the privilege to work with. He was always supportive, and nothing ever fazed him. I loved his taste in music and, of course, his distinctive voice. Thanks Eugene, for being a great mentor! You will be dearly missed.
My last photo taken with Eugene on 28 May 2022 at a work event. We had to take one because we hadn’t caught up for so long as our shifts no longer overlapped. I’m glad I’ll have this photo for memory of a colleague and friend I will truly miss.

Knew Eugene in secondary school. Fond memories of attending Japanese lessons and lunching at Scotts Picnic - beef noodles n yami yogurt before taking the mrt back to school. Never a dull moment with Eugene around. Always lots to say and he has a way of chortling that gets on your nerves yet super funny. Can still recall the fun times playing netball during recess and practising for inter-class matches. We may not have gotten 1st but I think we came in 2nd for one year. We didn’t keep in contact after graduation. Last I saw Eugene was many years back at the radio station. Will always remember him as a chatty, fun loving guy with lots of crazy ideas.
