Increasingly i feel the deepening loss of Eric Broekaert as the days pass. Our relationship began more than 40 years ago. I remember him then as a voracious learner and brilliant enthusiast of the therapeutic community- a younger colleague whose communication gifts, energy and prodigious intellect would advance the movement world wide. Which, of course, he has, as a teacher, scientist and humanist. Selfishly, i must admit that through the years, Eric’s work, and friendship rendered me less alone in my own mission. He is missed.
