Dear Sheila aunty, Dhruv, Varun,
I'm very sorry for your loss. Wishing you strength and peace during these difficult times.
I'm thinking of our many fond memories in Lusaka and Yasho uncle's cheerful nature.
One memory stands out: Varun and I must have been in 9th-10th grade. Yasho uncle, Sheila aunty, and Varun came by our house. My parents were out for the evening, and I was doing my best to study for my exams. Seeing as my parents weren't home, Yasho uncle suggested I sneak out and join him and the family for dinner. I thought it was a bad idea, but there's no way I could stand up to Yasho uncle's suggestion, so I went along with it. No surprise, it turned out to be a great idea and we had an entertaining dinner! I will miss his ability to make people feel welcome, no matter of difference in age, interest, etc.
