Dear Liza
It is heartbreaking to know that we have lost Vish. My thoughts are with you and Katelyn at this difficult time.
Vish has been an inspirational colleague, friend and mentor for me. It doesn’t seem that long ago when I met you both at Sheffield. Vish inspired us all who worked with him to enjoy neonates and his passion and love for his work shone everyday. I didn’t get a chance to work with you but I remember your kind and gentle manners. I worked with Vish again at Birmingham and it was a privilege to learn from him: how to be a better doctor and human being every day. He spoke so fondly of you and he was so pleased when you got your job at Worcester soon before I left Birmingham. I remember how he offered to cover for me so I could attend my daughter’s fourth birthday party at her nursery. He was the most caring and perceptive person in the team and everyone loved and respected him. We met at a conference couple of years ago and talked about our children. His love for Katelyn was evident to anyone who knew him and you both were his world. He will certainly live in the hearts of all of us who were privileged to know him.
Katelyn your daddy was an exceptional and amazing dad.
Vish you will always live in our hearts.
RIP Boss.
