I am so sorry to hear that grandad has passed away. I think he used the analogy of a journey and had said he was in the departure lounge. He has now taken off and is probably in first class entertaining his entourage and enjoying the food and a gin and tonic. I will remember him for his generosity and stories. He was larger than life!
