There is so much to be inspired by!
Memories of Vijay Sathye begin from him being the admirable senior during MBA days. I got a closer exposure to his outstanding qualities during the preparatory phase of FINVEST 1992 as MSF members.
The levels of his passion and dedication came forth even after he completed MBA. Vijay would be there with us at the Faculty, after long hours at work, to guide us, be it for MSF activities or curriculum related matters or professional aspirations. He absolutely wanted the Faculty to grow in stature, MSF to succeed further, and help individuals in any way he could.
I have been fortunate and privileged to have maintained contacts with Vijay post MBA days. First in Ahmedabad, then for the past 17 odd years in Mumbai. The association evolved from the Senior-Junior bonding to friendship, then family friendship along with Kanchan & Aaryak.
Depth of subject matter knowledge; the phenomenonal ability to grasp concepts quickly and relate them to business context; the burning desire to excel & succeed; the passion, dedication & commitment; humble and a thorough gentleman to the core, unflinching value system; never wanting to throw in the towel, whatever the adversity; sports & current affairs enthusiast; the guy you could trust to not forget; always there to help........I can keep going on and on! The learning for me has been profound.
Vijay, you continue to be around as the guiding light
